Introduction

Body Mechanics is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying relevant accessibility best practices.

Our Commitment

We are dedicated to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We actively work to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and incorporate accessibility features during development.

We believe that everyone should be able to access our physiotherapy services and information without barriers.

Accessibility Standards

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. While we have not completed a formal accessibility audit, we have implemented many accessibility features and continue to improve our website's accessibility.

We regularly review our website to identify and address accessibility issues as we work toward full conformance.

Accessibility Features

  • Semantic HTML: Proper use of heading hierarchy, landmarks, and semantic elements
  • ARIA Labels: Descriptive labels for screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Keyboard Navigation: Full keyboard access with visible focus indicators
  • Alternative Text: Descriptive alt text for all meaningful images
  • Form Labels: Clear labels associated with all form controls

Known Issues & Limitations

We are aware of the following accessibility limitations and are actively working to address them:

  • Skip Navigation Links: We do not currently have "skip to main content" links on all pages
  • Text Resizing: No dedicated text size adjustment controls (users must rely on browser zoom)
  • Third-party Content: Some embedded content (maps, videos) may have limited accessibility

We are committed to addressing these issues in future updates and welcome feedback to help us prioritize improvements.
